In the framework of their action "Networking to Promote Application of Copernicus in Chile", The Joint Nature Conservation Committee (JNCC) and the Center for Mathematical Modeling (CMM) of the University of Chile are co-hosting the workshop series "Copernicus Satellite Data in Chile and Latin America: From Applications to Networking".

The first set of workshops explored how Copernicus data is used to research climate change via a series of presentations from internationally renowned technical experts.

The workshop consisted of four thematic sessions:

  • Climate and Atmosphere
  • Land
  • Oceans
  • Cryosphere
